I suggest to take spray skirts. PFD is a must. There is a $ 5.00 parking fee to Squam Lakes Association.


The Squam Lakes AssociatioSquam Lake assoc.n rents canoes, kayaks to the public. The Squam Lakes offer excellent paddling opportunities with many islands, coves, reefs and miles of protected mountain views. Come explore the shores of Squam Lake.


Drop you boats off at the boat ramp located at the Squam Lake Association. There is a $5 launch/parking fee. Then park your car large lot next to the main building.

Paddle will be approx. 8-10 miles. Squam is a large lake...so wind can create waves over the long fetch.

Life vests aka PFDs must be worn when paddling with this group

There are many local restaurants for after paddling dining

Directions:

* Take Rt I-93 North from Manchester/Conford NH
* Take exit 24 for US-3/NH-25 toward Holderness/Ashland 0.2 mi
* Turn right at Main St/NH-25/US-3
* Continue to follow NH-25/US-3
* SLA is on left
