Dragon Boat Club of Boston Race Practice - New members welcome!

The Dragon Boat Club of Boston, now in it's 7th year of competitive dragon boat racing in Boston, Hartford, Montreal, New York, Lowell, Pawtucket, Ithaca and San Francisco welcomes athletic men and women year round to our coed race crews.

Looking for a good upper body and cardio workout? Join our seasoned coaches at the Hatch Shell docks on the beautiful Charles River Esplanade and let them get you into shape and show you how we won the Hong Kong Cup and are the defending local champions of the Boston Dragon Boat Festival for 2006 and 2007! Join our crews for the rest of our race season and add some shiny medals to your collection.

What is a dragonboat? It's a 40ft long fiberglass canoe-like boat manned by up to 20 paddlers, a steerer and drummer. We train hard and race harder. In 2007 we started off the season at the Boston Dragon Boat Festival where our crews walked away with lots of hardware:

Practices: Tue and Thur 6pm and Sundays 10am at the
Hatch Shell docks
