This meetup group is dedicated to Kitesurfers living in / near London who are interested in short kitesurfing trips throughout the UK. The main purpose is fun, but the practical function of this meetup is to organize travel (carpools or trains), having a group to help with launching and landing kites, and looking out for each other on the beach. London Hikers is ran exclusively by volunteers for volunteers. The group Organisers wish to share their passion for the outdoors by organising activities from hiking to mountaineering, horse riding, biking, paddling, etc. The group also fosters nature conservation and training courses around the outdoors disciplines.
I couldn't help but notice that quite of few of us have listed Adventure Racing as an activity we either do today or would like to learn more about. For those that don't know, Adventure Racing it's one of the fastest growing team sports, with each race usually combining trail running, mountain biking and canoeing.
