… Standard paddling locations are Lake Natoma and Folsom Lake in the Folsom and Granite Bay area, the American River in Sacramento, and Lake Tahoe.  Special trips are set up throughout the region including the Bay, Santa Cruz, and Sierra foothills. During the peak summer season the club tries to meet weekly in the evening and 1-2 times a month on weekends.  Each year the club meets in Tahoe for a SUP party.  In the winter the club meets as weather permits. River City Whitewater Club (RCWC) is a not for profit whitewater rafting club comprised of a close-knit group that enjoys rafting. RCWC was established in 1982, and is based in Sacramento, CA. We have 40-50 members in the Sacramento region, Sierra Foothills, and the Bay Area. RCWC members each own a share of the club’s high quality rafting equipment.
