DragonMax is a Dragon Boat Club that practices year-round in Berkeley, California. It is sponsored by the Berkeley Racing Canoe Center (BRCC) and supports many community projects throughout the Bay Area. Come paddle an outrigger canoe! O Kalani Outrigger Canoe Center welcomes beginners at our Sunday, 9:00 am practice along the Oakland estuary (Jack London Aquatic Center). No experience necessary. We'll provide you with a paddle and some basic instruction. Wear non-cotton, loose-fitting clothing (shorts/pants and top), shoes that can get wet, sunscreen and sunglasses. Consider a hat with a brim and a light jacket. (No jeans, cotton t-shirts or sneakers.)  Don't forget WATER.
