Meet local flatwater paddlers. Trips will be centered on rivers and lakes in the Portland area ranging to the greater Northwest estuaries, rivers and lakes. Camping trips are encouraged!

The family-friendly Portland Chapter of the Oregon Nordic Club began in 1968 to promote the values of cross country skiing. Since then, we've grown into a group of friends who telemark, hike, camp, paddle and bike on monthly outings. We love spending outdoor time together in the Northwest forests, mountains, and in-town -- year-round!  We are family friendly. Looking for a small group of paddlers to kayak with a few times a month during the summer? Look no further! The wilderness is amazing, the water is fun and wild, and it's great exercise. See river otters swim past you. Watch hawks soar overhead. Float past deer grazing. If we car caravan it makes it easier to arrange drop-off and pickup.
