VT Lake Champlain Paddlers is a paddling group designed for "social" paddling with a group. In general, most paddles will be open to all types of kayaks and canoes, but some events may restrict boats to a certain type. We welcome paddlers of all skill levels to join us. Safety is a primary focus, and as such, paddlers MUST wear a PFD at all times while paddling with this group. We are passionate about rowing and sculling! We live in the Squam Lakes region and row for fun and fitness! We welcome adult rowers of all ages and abilities. Welcome to the Central Vermont Social Club!  This group is open to all and was started as a way to meet others while sharing in activities and adventures. If you are interested in hiking, paddling, biking, snow-shoeing and any other outdoor activity, dining out, movies, and farmers markets this may be the place for you. The goal is to stay active and have fun in the safety and companionship of the group.  Although the group is based out of Barre, Vt we will have activities through-out VT and NH.
